I quite often find myself in a situation where I open an item from one of my feeds and find that the item is too long to read or video too long to watch in the time that I have available. Either that or it's something that I'd just like to leave until later.
What would be really useful for me in this situation would be an item in the right mouse menu that would 'Mark last item unread'. However this is a little narrow in scope, so I'd like to ask for a more broad enhancement which would aid me in these situations too.
When I am in this situation what I generally do is use the search box to find the item which is marked as read and unmark it. Of course, I have to hit the 'All' button too. I think it would make sense that when we start entering a search term, the 'All' button is selected automatically.
Would this be a sensible idea or is it a non-starter?
