Improvements to Unity Box #29

Unity Box: super great, when it works. So painful most of the time.

Proposal: Fix unity box so it delivers on its utopian promises. https://[GHE]/CFPB/UnityBox/issues

My whole team tried to set up Unity Box yesterday, and it was incredibly painful. We all ran into the same errors and couldn't get them resolved.

I know I've asked this question approximately 8 times, but the answer has yet to take hold in my brain:

Is this (Unity Box) something that Docker can replace? Improve?

work is afoot to remove the forking routine, which causes much of the grief: https://[GHE]/CFPB/UnityBox/issues/78

Even though Docker is probably coming, this UnityBox pain is right here, right now. It's immediate and acute, and we should not disregard it because of the eventual Docker-based future.

@marcesher I didn't mean to suggest that, at all :) Is there any chance of getting a Docker-based proof-of-concept up and running during the hackathon?
