Minor fixes #819

This PR makes three minor changes:

@hillaryj @grapesmoker, can one of you review the first two.

@ascott1 @contolini @sebworks, could one of you confirm I have npmed correctly?

👍 npm'ing looks correct but it's probably a good idea to run npm shrinkwrap as well.

@ascott1 Yup, I did, and npm-shrinkwrap.json has the correct version of jQuery in it.

(Yay for being able to look up the process in chat history from last time!)
