Define two dexters, e.g. dexter0 at 0.142 and dexter1 at 1.142. Or dexter0 at 1.142 and dexter1 at 1.143. Whatever, as long as they have two different IP addresses.
Disconnect all robots.
Define a simple job that attempts to move the Dexter.
Select dexter0 in the Misc panel, and run the job. Note the ip address in the error message
Select dexter1, run job, note that it's still using the IP address for dexter0
