Remarks:
- It looks like you are struggling a little with how to manage GitHub more than anything. I totally understand, me too.
- The actual structure and content of what you are attempting with your coding is great, with the exception of the links not working. I think Poh provides some help here with his comment above mine.
Evaluation HW-01 for Chengyee
Remarks:
Chengyee clearly achieved the objective of the HW. She was clear about how to fork and clone a repository from GitHub, make local changes to the documents and commit her changes before pushing it to GitHub. The presence of the pull request clearly shows she understands how to submit the assignment.
Syntax used in the Markdown document demonstrates understanding and conceptualization of the syntax required to create a presentable layout.
The student also attempted to change the size of the image embedded through the markdown document but was not able to do so. However changing the image size through the html code showed creativity in solving the issue and is something I felt I could learn from.
Some things to improve on would be to ensure that the submitted documents contains codes/components that work. For example, the link provided to the GitHub user page was not valid, which meant that student did not attempt to check if the link worked before submitting. Also she could have previewed her html on RStudio without needing to commit and push every time she wanted to view her changes.
Other than that, really excellent attempt for the first assignment.
