Is this definitely in scope? It's fast to install- I did it interactively with curl and make when I had to use in biipy.

Up to you. Maybe something to consider later, possibly installing a binary via bioconda.

Not in bioconda yet. Will add and then pull at a later date.

Added in bioconda and installed in biipy.
