There are 2-3 possible scenarios after investigation:

Easy to do, but probably time consuming, very uncertain if any options above are actually going to be useful -> maybe some simple metadata tags embedded in geotiff of the main things (subswaths, arguments etc) (fast to implement hence possible to implement something else)

Simple plan: Name the GDAL band according to the polarization. Also add polarization to the filename. For coherence add sensing time end according to the secondary scene.
