Haha, did more or less the same thing in my current project, then saw this pull request. Please get this merged!

If someone wants to go add tests, then I'll merge it pretty quickly. Otherwise, I may get to it in time.

This massively fell through the cracks for me, and alas no visible time on the horizon to build tests.

Hopefully someone else can get to it, or I get another bout of insomnia..
