Configure notification timeout #122

Is it currently possible to control the timeout for a notification? The time the popup takes to disappear is far too long for my liking, would lover to be able to configure it!

I've noticed this myself; that the notifications now stay on the screen far too long - in some cases they simply do not go away.

More specifically, the method used for the 1.2.0 release seemed to work fine. Large amounts of notifications that were queued (such as while the machine was off) passed by quickly.

Now, I've noticed that some notifications will stay on screen, I just had one that finally cleared after about 4 minutes. When the screen is in use, such as by a video (youtube in a browser, VLC, etc...) the notifications will sometimes never clear until you manually hit the X. See the attached picture - in this case, a video was playing and the notification did not go away until I manually closed it, 20 minutes after it arrived.

nogo

The only consistency I've noticed is that when the screen is in use, the notifications take longer (or never do) go away. In other cases, some notifications stick around for a minimal amount of time, others take minutes.

Something I just thought of - notifications coming via the email gateway, or via API...I will try to see if there is a difference in time.
