XIM doesn't work #927

I have updated to Emacs 30 from a old commit of 29 (before the release branch was created) a few months ago, and from then exwm-xim no longer works. Changing input method is just a noop. I don't know what information should I provide, please tell me and I'll happy to help.

I set the XIM related env vars in from my init.el, so that workaround doesn't really apply. Anyway I tried it, no good.
