Could be based on hits from trans_3_0 blast database, as these come from the 
entity table.

Matt has code to do this overlap decision making.

how often is there no hit overlap? Check the logs. Really worth it?

Do this based on the location of the hits.

Only when a component then has no interaction templates that cover 50% of its 
sequence, then split into domains (based on location of partial hits), and redo 
looking for templates between each new domain and each of the other existing 
components.
