Optimize symmetry: cluster nodes first, find templates. When a subnetwork 
solution emerges where each cluster contains two nodes, then the whole network 
solution can be duplicated, then find links between the networks to merge them.

And only blast after clustering nodes into groups, to reduce the number of 
blast searches
