Thank you for the heads-up.  Seems that the issue is already fixed in 
fcitx-mozc.

You can locally revert r542 if you work around this in mozc side, but I believe 
changing fcitx-mozc as above commit is the right way, because the code removed 
from fcitx-mozc by that commit was indeed unnecessary even before r542 was 
committed to Mozc.
