GRUB menu does not appear after running ./genstrap.sh on Fedora Asahi

I had to use Debian instructions because GRUB menu does not appear on Fedora Asahi

GRUB has deferred console takeover, you just have to mash an arrow key or shift to get it to appear.

I have the same problem - system always boots to asahi-fedora, no grub menu showing up. Repeatedly hitting shift/arrow key (starting directly after uboot timeout is gone) doesn't help.

Ok, just retried the installation. This time i installed asahi-fedora-minimal and now it worked as described. In contrast to my first try, i saw the grub menu on every boot (also when booting asahi-fedora the first time), and entries where added there.

• 1 entry was added after updating the system (after dnf upgrade --refresh)
• 1 entry was added for gentoo live cd (after ./genstrap.sh)

On my first try with asahi-fedora-plasma, i never saw a grub menu at all...
