E.g.:

still think it's cheeky (and somewhat misleading) to open with "Sentry is an Open Source company". It gives the impression their main product of that name is open source.

Also got pushback from OSI (private email).

We get into this somewhere in here. "What's wrong with the term Open Source company? We can define it if we want to."

Possibly relate to "Open source is NOT a business model (and your business will fail if you think that it is)"?

Just chiming in on this since that's a quote from my comment, there's a little more context and conversation in the original thread. Here's a screenshot of that since the messages from David have since been deleted.

Happy to provide any further (likely alternative I'm guessing) perspective on this if desired.
