I'm getting grub-install: error: unknown filesystem. during installation.

Do you have any idea what I've missed during my installation ? seems other users have same error https://gist.github.com/huntrar/e42aee630bee3295b2c671d098c81268

hmmm, did you make sure to use --type luks1 when formatting the partition with cryptsetup luksFormat?

DavidHenryThoreau commented 1 year ago

Yes :

cryptsetup --type luks1 luksFormat /dev/vda2

I'm using parted

parted -s /dev/vda mklabel gpt
parted -s /dev/vda mkpart "EFI" fat32 2048s 512MiB
parted -s /dev/vda set 1 esp on
parted -s /dev/vda mkpart "lvm" ext4 512MiB 100%
