Error when deleting the point layer #6

Say I had a location for the accessibility map calculation, the layer was deleted. Next time we call the "Choose origin", there's an error with following message:

              File "/path/to/plugin/transition_qgis/capture_coord_tool.py", line 95, in deactivate
              if self.layer:
             RuntimeError: wrapped C/C++ object of type QgsVectorLayer has been deleted
