4 years ago To be expected, my board's been down for I'd guess a couple years now. I guess I'll leave this issue open for now, even though the likely outcome is not me spinning my board back up and being a good Sysop.
Here's maybe a couple outcomes we can hope for :
- Changing the instructions so they don't point at my board and cause confusion.
- Finding a BBS that's reliable that wants to act as a central scoreboard
- Creating a list inside this repository of many BBS's that host scoreboards, so anyone who hosts a scoreboard could add it to the list.
If we go with options #1 and #3, no reason that couldn't start today if you feel like adding your scoreboard to central list that can be started on and stored in this repo.
As far as #2 goes, I think that involves being tapped into the BBS Scene as opposed to here on github, talking to some people maybe on DoveNET or irc.synchro.net to figure out who's got a nice scoreboard file to work from.
