Dear @tyerush,

Sorry to read that... this is the first time I hear about this. Are you sure that it is the package loading that generates the crashing? Maybe try to uninstall the package and install it again, update all dependencies or trying a different combination of packages loading. Let me know if this persist.

Best, Romain

Hi Romain,

I did some troubleshooting before reaching out about this. I am sure that it crashes when I load the DIDmultiplegtDYN package because when it is the only line of code that I run, it still crashes the session after 5 seconds of loading. I uninstalled the package and its dependencies, then tried again and it is still the same result. I am on a macbook (M2 chip) with the most recent version of R, although I've tried this process with versions 3.9 through 4.2.3 of R and, given the prompt from the package that included a link to a stackexchange thread about "rgl" and "Xquartz", I did so with those corresponding versions of "rgl" and "Xquartz" for good measure. To the best of my knowledge, it may be related to the M2 chip in my macbook since other people have reported on stackexchange that they are having problems with packages and programs that rely on Xquartz with the Apple chip macbooks. I hope this helps.

Thank you, Tye
