one source number refers to two different publications #23

This source No. 95262 refers to two different publications in TW production

@PJansta can you describe how you know this? Did you determine this by using that number in the autocomplete and seeing two records?

Using a number can match both the internal ID and assigned identifiers of different types (etc.), so it could be you are just getting a double match.

I used the number to enter in "Sources" searching. And it showed me to possible papers assigned to this number: Srivastava, B. & Kushwaha, K.S. (1995) Sequential appearance and frequency of the parasites of Spodoptera litura (Fabr.) on cauliflower and cabbage at Udaipur. Advances in Agricultural Research in India 3, 130–140. Péringuey, L. (1892) Fourth contribution to the South African coleopterous fauna. Transactions of the South African Philosophical Society 6, 95–136.

Can you take a screenshot of where you entered the number? There are lots of possible input (or provide the URL). I can't quite replicate "95262" showign two records...

@PJansta I think the image didn't make it. You should be able to drag/drop an image on your desktop into these text boxes.

I know that both citation has different id in TW, but they appear both if I use 95262. I do not mind, just do not know if it is a bug or not. Cheers, Petr

'95262' is the internal ID of the first citation, thus the top match. It is also part of the DOI of the second citation 10.1080/21560382.1889.9526257, thus the second match. An improvement to the result would be a statement as to what would be matching. Closing this for now.
