Sure, Jason, you can own a company too... #13

Nice choice of word you go there, which reminds me of the real life situation. I've heard about a couple of companies who went out of business because the owner is like you. They know little bit about C++ and they think they can make some decent software. The problem is... if they make a single mistake and the software has a flaw, you cannot sell it. Sometimes it takes a year to make a software and they spend thousands of dollars on it. And when they get stuck with some weird behavior in the software, they realize they can never finish the work. And when that happens, they also realize they wasted thousands of dollars and huge amount of time. Believe it or not, I could have gone there and save the company but I chose not to. And suppose you work for a company. Let's say... Microsoft. What Bill Gates does is this. He heard about new CSS4 just came out. But nobody knows how to use it. It's a new thing. Certainly, BCIT never taught you that one. And Mr. Gates brings in a huge thick textbook and tells you, "You've got 2 hours. Read it and make a new HTML site that uses CSS4. And Mr. Gates leaves you alone in a room and leaves. 2 hours later, he comes back and takes away the book and asks you to make the new website. If you can't, you get kicked out and Mr. Gates makes sure you have tough time getting a job. He can do that, you know. He's got so many friends. And what about Mr. Gate's friend, Mr. Paul Allen? He is probably the best C++ programmer in the world. He makes compilers. And if you work with him, and if you do stupid thing like testing your code every 5 min, even if your program works, he kicks you out. He gets disgusted by retards. So what you do is this. You never ever lose concentration and keep typing and never test your code. You can test it at the end of the day. And when you run it, there should be no error (or 1 or 2 is okay). But if you work with Mr. Allen or Mr. Gates, you can become a millionaire. I guarantee it.
