Good day

Have followed steps until the copy .env.example file...

i cannot find this file in the LMS folder... kindly assist with steps

All files which starts with a dot . (like .env.example in this scenario) are hidden by default in most servers/machines for security purposes as they contain sensitive data like Database credentials, email credentials or other third party API keys. So it can't be visible but it can be opened. So you just need to create a file called .env which is going to store the database credentials and you can create this file by copying it from the file which is already there .env.example by running the following command as indicated in README.md copy .env.example .env Then you can open it as usual on your Linux terminal command: sudo nano .env

Thank you for responding.. you're a great help. I'm new to this. First time installing something from github. So how can I open the file? Touch .env.example?
