Consider prefers-color-scheme media query #1

For more accessibility, can you consider using prefers-color-scheme to change the color scheme to light mode when requested? I personally find dark mode really hard to read.

Since you're using variables for the colors already, it should be a simple addition to override if necessary.

I'd love to have this, but I struggle with designing color schemes to begin with and doing two, one that is totally unfamiliar to me, was more than I could wrangle.

If you or someone wants to help with a nice / fitting light color scheme, happy to add back the detection and toggle.
