GKE on-prem DEMO 雖然還沒 GA, 但是 GKE on-prem 已經是全力promote了, multi-cloud multi-cluster 的觀念貫穿全場,
Hybrid Connectivity - Reliably Extending Your Enterprise Network to GCP 講的是 hybrid cloud 時, on-prem & cloud 間網路連接策略, 一樣分為 peering 與走 Internet 兩種情況, 走Internet 時也是假設有兩條對外, 感覺跟 SD-WAN 超像, 但 scope 縮小很多, 不考慮 backbone, router 端只要支援 IPSec, ECMP, BGP 就夠了.
Accelerating Your Compute-Intensive Applications on Google Kubernetes Engine 不能算 hybrid, 算是 GKE 對 AI / tensorflow 的支援, GPU cluster 多人分配做的不錯, 如果裡面講的的在 GKE on-prem 也都有實現的話, 你們冰箱直接上 GKE on-prem 就很夠用了

cisco 幾乎全力主打 Hybrid K8S了, GKE on-prem 他們似乎早就拿到了, 也把 kubectl 包了一個很華麗的 UI, 那個 HyperFlex 似乎從 storage 到 network 都改寫了不少地方, 不是一個 vanilla k8s 灌進去 UCS 而已
