bug(wmg): Brain dotplot not loading when adding marker genes for macroglial cells #4119

Describe the bug

Adding 25 marker genes in Brain not loading at all (Brain, microglial cells). The following page is returned after 2 min

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to Gene Expression.
  2. Select Brain
  3. Click on (i) icon for macroglial cells.
  4. Add genes to dot plot

Expected behavior

A dot plot should load

This is likely to reproduce with any other large group of genes but I can't provide anymore details as there was a hotfix on this.

from @atarashansky this is the explanation of the hotfix

It's working because I pointed the latest snapshot to an older version (December 16). There's something funky going on with the latest version that I cannot reproduce locally.
