text not cleared on keyword field #216

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to first page > click Keyword search field > "Keyword" is NOT deleted, 
you can just write after it.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

It should clear the text

the problem is that now in ie8 the keyword text is missing.
