Release v1.1

This issue is for tracking the release preparations of v1.1. The release is 
tentatively scheduled for the upcoming weekend.

Blocking issues will be listed here, most are so tiny that they don't have a 
dedicated issue. It is possible to escalate them though.

* Configuration files clean-up: delete obsoleted files, update the relevant 
ones and provide good default values.
* Editor on Linux: Does it work? If not, will it work in the time frame of this 
release
* Working GUI resolution selection
* Fix motion blur (or failing that, hide it from gui)
* Close issue #10 (User config files)
* Parts of issue #24 so that the game (not editor at this time) is possible to 
run from write-protected prefix.
* Issue #17 (Convenient way to exit game)

Feel free to add your own, or contest the others.

When releasing:
* Tag Mercurial
* Upload source + Windows package
* Advertise

I fixed that, see latest commit.

However, changing resolution in game "breaks" the quit button - it doesnt move 
with the new window borders.

I'll sum up what's still missing:

that changing resolution doesnt move it to the new corner.
