gcc-git
was requested in https://github.com/chaotic-aur/packages/issues/869, but it seems it was withdrawn before it made it into a routine
exo-git
failed at first: checking for libxfce4util-1.0 >= 4.17.2... found, but 4.16.0
Add thunar-git, exo-git, gtk4-git, gtk3-git, desktop-file-utils-git, gcc-git, thunar-archive-plugin-git, thunar-media-tags-plugin-git, thunar-volman-git
# Issue 1672
libxfce4util-git # (dep exo-git)
exo-git # (dep thunar-git)
thunar-git
gtk4-git
gtk3-git
desktop-file-utils-git
gcc-git
thunar-archive-plugin-git
thunar-media-tags-plugin-git
thunar-volman-git
@SolarAquarion mentioned long ago that thunar-git
depends on -git
versions, this is still true. However libxfce4util-git
is flagged right now.
How easy would the fix be? The comments mention that they just have to revert the PKGBUILD to the previous PKGBUILD ver.
Probably not too hard. SolarAquarion is the maintainer, so I mentioned to bring it to their attention.
If you want to help, I always seek co-maintainers

Made a PKGBUILD for libxfce4util-git that hopefully fixed the issue (still new to this lmao) PKGBUILD.txt
what is your name on the aur
@SolarAquarion It's: 'Vextium' (without quote)
@VexfulNiko you seem to be added as the co-maintainer now
I have, recommend any helpers/manager tools to simplify the process of pushing a package?
@VexfulNiko There already exist tools to make life easier, like updpkgsums
from pacman-contrib
https://nerden.de/updating_aur_package/
libxfce4util fixed upstream BTW finally got around updating glibc and this package
I definitely did not mean to do that.

More information
I saw a request for gcc-git before, and it was marked as added, but I don't see it in the repo. Also thunar-git is great for people who want a lightweight file manager, which is why I recommended it to be added along a few of it dependencies.
