[Request] Emulationstation-de #3040

Purpose:

This is a emulation front-end to get a console like UI and place to view and play games and Roms in one place

Benefits:

The Chaotic AUR has emulationstation which is an old project with last commit 6 years ago. EmulationStation Desktop edition is a fork of that project which provides a more pre configured setup and less bugs and manual setup.

emulationstation git repo looks active. Last commit few hours ago. 2.11.2 released mid 2023. https://github.com/RetroPie/EmulationStation

Problem with emulationstation-de is the -de suffix makes it look like a language extension. Also, the upstream name is now officially ES-DE. Will have to look more into history of fork, differences, etc.

I see, It seems that I was looking at the original repo and not the Retropie Fork. I was confused about both this and the Desktop Edition and someone on reddit pointed me to that repo.

Also ES-DE seems to be one that is recommended more, Unless you're using RetroPie.

Although the benifit do still stand, about the manual configuration for emulation Station, There should a es_system.cfg file in /etc/emulationstation/ according to the documentation for debian install but that seems to be missing for Arch
