Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. The current -p and --cols flags are a little confusing. There are a few benefits but overall the situation could likely be cleanup up significantly and made more intuitive.

Describe the solution you'd like It would be good to follow a convention like yt-dlp's output template: https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp#output-template But careful design will be required to preserve many aspects of the xklb printer (aggregation, etc)

I'm really conflicted on this because how it is currently feels convenient. maybe both interfaces could be supported
