Initial support for COLRv1 fonts in Preview Pane, Type Ramp, Quick Compare and Compare Fonts for Windows 11 builds > 25905.
If a glyph has both COLRv1 and COLRv0 versions, only the COLRv1 version can be seen in these views currently
SVG Export or copying as SVG will only use COLRv0 glyphs
PNG Export or copying as PNG will favour the COLRv1 glyphs
Known Issues
Certain COLRv1 fonts return incorrect draw boundaries for glyphs (returning boundaries for the fallback monochrome glyph instead) which can lead to characters being slightly cut off when viewed in Preview Pane or exported as PNG
COLRv1 glyphs with alpha layers may render incorrectly at larger sizes (D2D bug)
