docs: remove trailing whitespace and add getting started section #14

when we were getting started we were initially baffled by some of the weird behavior we witnessed in regards to the result object. this just adds a Before getting started section to the readme that details some of the lazy loading behavior that might trip new users up.

I also removed some trailing whitespace from some other lines
