IT std compliance/Version numbering: Why only 1 digit?

It should be better to have a 3 digits version numbering, in order to qualify the step between 2 versions: major/minor update, small changes, backward compatibility… Remark initially raised by Jérôme Benoit!

Benefits:better and simpler management of versions. Cost maintenance reduction on IT Depts

Impact son players already connected via OPCP:very low (and likely none)"
