In the beginning of the course, material is separated into tutorials and labs somewhat clearly.
Towards the end, this breaks down, and the tutorial material on modeling is intertwined with the labs. It might be better to restructure those labs so that the didactic material is separate from the labs.
While this would be nice, the material at the end of the course is well-constructed. I think it makes sense to leave it as lab-only. For the online version, this is nothing but a change in pace. For the IRL version, the videos from Kendrick Kay's course should suffice for tutorial material.
Idea: labs are mixtures of simulations and applications; tutorials are reading material plus conceptual questions
