Hi, I am curious about the relationship between PointNet with SLAM(simultaneous localization and mapping). In other words, does point cloud segmentation or object detection have anything to do with SLAM? Or that they belong to different fields without direct connection? I am confused because I often see "SLAM" but don’t know what it does. Could you talk about your opinions? Thank you!
