Formatting of README #7

Added some things for readability and syntax-coloured code snippets.

Thanks for this, but I write the documentation as comments in the .el file, and then copy it to the README using M-x finder-commentary. Seems to be the best way to keep up documentation in both the file where the code is located, and in the README.
