Distance for adjacent country reported wrong #1

Today a country I guessed was reported as adjacent and as 5,620 km away. I don't know why this might be. The other countries seemed to show the correct distance. See screenshot.

I have noticed incorrect distances on both Brave and Safari browsers. I think what is happening is that I tend to leave the tab open and just click on the globe symbol in the top left corner to get to the new day's quiz. This leaves countries I have guessed on previous days their distances seem to be cached. When I hit refresh on the page the distances appear to be correct.
