Consider Workflow Run Crate as basis #5

The Workflow Run Crate profiles can help with describing many of the needs highlighted in your paper - e.g. processes, parameters, files, and can help you with how to reference files and workflows.

What I think you are adding new here that is very important aspect of agency with purpose including templates like nano publications and combining with cito ontology.

It is better to reuse a thing that already exists rather than create my own. I knew of RO-Crate but not the Provenance/Workflow Run Crate profile until you brought it up. I will close this issue when I revise this paper to be based on Workflow Run Crate.

Since JSON-LD (and linked data) are extensible, it seems like one should be able to link Provenance/Workflow Run Crate with CiTO and nanopublications.
