This PR fixes "TypeError: Cannot read property 'emit' of undefined" (aka "TypeError: this.events is undefined") introduces in Grafana 7.1.x

Problem:

• variableSrv is not injected into plugins since Grafana 7.1.x

Changes:

• do not use variableSrv in Grafana 7.x
• update dist

Other changes:

• close HTML tags properly to prevent disappearing panel configuration elements
