Also, I see that new models are being added rapidly - three new ones since yesterday, so that's another reason why I'm interested in this extension.
I truly believe that prompting with more parameters will make this an ideal solution, because I will be able to immediately compare how each model performs for different tasks.
But then I won't be using the extension just for testing models, but as a daily tool.
I've just purchased the extension as even in its current state, it's well worth the money. And it would be even more so if it gets "prompt variables".
Thanks for your support and suggestions! Yes, we'll improve the "Prompt Library" feature in upcoming versions. And I'll explore how to implement the "prompt variables" feature. As for Firefox version, I didn't know that Firefox already supported Manifest v3, will definitely experiment with it soon.
... or maybe make it as web service
First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for your efforts. I also want to commend you on the exceptional design of this extension. Its simplicity and speed truly make it stand out and it performs its intended functions flawlessly.
Furthermore, this is the only extension I have come across that allows me to easily compare various models. Right now that is very nice feature as I find out that Claude model is quite capable in coding and with its 100K tokens capability I believe it is nice competitor to GPT-4.
Over the past few days, I have conducted extensive research in search of the "perfect AI companion", and I must say that this extension ranks among my favorites.
Now, I have a couple of important questions and requests to address:
The first question pertains to prompting. While I greatly appreciate the rest of the extension's features, I find the prompting aspect lacking for my needs. I believe it would greatly enhance the extension's capabilities if there were a way to introduce multiple variables into prompts. I have conducted thorough research, and trust me, there are not many tools that offer this simplicity. Incorporating such functionality would undoubtedly contribute to the improvement of your sales.
My second request concerns the availability of a Firefox version. I am curious to know if there are any plans to implement this version. Given the transition to manifest version 3, I assume it should not be overly complicated to develop a Firefox-compatible version at this point.
I don't believe that Firefox add-on is particularly significant for everyone, but I still asked because I primarily use Firefox.
Thank you once again for your hard work and for considering my questions and requests.
