Not recording system audio using Camtasia 2/Screenium/ScreenFlow on Mac OS X Lion #132

I'm running on Mac OS X Lion Version 10.7.3 and ever since I upgraded to Lion, 
Soundflower has NOT been recording system audio at all. I've tried everything: 
uninstalling, reinstalling, researched about it, uninstalled my screen capture 
programs, even gone to Apple, but nothing works! What is the problem? And how 
can I fix it. Thank you!

I've had the same thing happen to me. I think the problem is that since the 
update with Mac OSX Lion, it has not been able to record any system audio and 
having no option to do so. Yet still, I have no Idea why Apple isn't allowing 
us to record any system Audio at all.

Well, this is a big problem. What good is having screen capture software that 
doesn't capture audio? We're not making silent movies here! I hope Soundflower, 
Apple, Camtasia or somebody comes up with a solution pretty soon. It's really 
needed!

Am I the only one who thinks that it's pretty pathetic when the computer that 
positions itself as the easier, better, more elegant solution to computing 
can't do some of the simplest things?!?!? Are you listening, Apple? 

(Probably not.) 

Gah! 

No offense to Soundflower, but why hasn't Apple addressed this internally? 
Relying on a volunteer third party developer for major functionality would be 
like Ford farming out drive trains to weekend hobbyists! The job may eventually 
get done, but it's no way to run a company!
