Soundflowerbed consumes unexpected CPU % #56

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run the top command
2. CPU utilisation routinely shows between 4% - 5% CPU at all times
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A fraction of 1% CPU utilisation under conditions with no system audio activity 
would be normal, 
IMHO.  Instead, the top command (displayed via geektool) indicates 4% to 5% CPU 
for the 
soundflowerbed process.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 1.5.1, although the "About" box displays 1.4.4 (known issue). The 
operating system is 
OS X 10.5.8 .
