After installing SoundFlower, Line-In does not work #75

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install SoundFlower
2. LineIn stops working
3. Uninstall SoundFlower with included script
4. LineIn still not working

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The only thing that works is the iSight input. The Line-In records very quiet 
static with my headset. It worked fine before. Now no matter what settings I 
adjust I cannot get any audio recorded.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

1.5.1 on OS X 10.6.4

Please provide any additional information below.

Very frustrated that my new MacBook Pro can't record at all now :( Any insight 
is appreciated.

I noticed that I can record with a powered input, such as an MP3 player but it 
has to be on 100% volume to even barely register. My Line In level is all the 
way up, as you can see in the attached screen shot.

I have a similar problem where Soundflower (and wavtap when I tried that) 
removed my headset mic as an input option and only allows me access to the 
built-in mic as an audio source. Plantronics headset/mic y-cable plugged into 
4-pin jack works flawlessly otherwise. late 2013 imac 21.5" w/osx 10.9.4
