Reimbursement policy

We should figure out a credit card policy and go into more detail about exactly how one goes about filing a reimbursement.

This requires our accountants, patience, and motivation 😣

Thoughts? Not really looking for answers here, just a placeholder to do this chunk of work. Would love to hear thoughts on company credit cards (looking at you, cook ops)

Company credit cards would be awesome. I have always disliked the fact that an employee is expected to pay for things with their own money and then get reimbursed.

We should figure out a software to use to record receipts and code them to the correct account.

A uniform reimbursement form would be helpful to be sure to collect all necessary info.

I have used https://www.expensify.com/ and liked it. It has a great mobile app that automatically scans receipt photos.

I had a company card at Heroku. It was nice to not have to spend my own money, but then I always had to file my reimbursements on time to avoid getting slapped with huge AMEX late fees.
