Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
There's currently no user action auditing in the platform - if somebody created/edited/deleted/disabled/activated/muted a check, added a user, ran a check manually, edited environment variables, created/edited/deleted maintenance windows, etc. Since access controls aren't granular and there's no version control to allow rollbacks of changes, it's important that we can track who does what/when as we further adopt the platform. Some example questions that we need to be able to answer are:
Was a check or snippet recently created/edited/deleted?
Was an environment variable changed?
How long has this check been muted/deactivated/activated and who muted/deactivated/activated it?
Who last touched this check/snippet/variable/maintenance window/group?
When was this user created and who created them?
Who did what when?
Describe the solution you'd like
Some sort of audit trail should be visible to administrators that shows which users took what actions when. Both an overall "Events" type of audit page like Checkly currently implements for alerts/events, and an item level "history" would be useful, but the overall events page would be most immediately useful for us.
Thanks @Nicki-Susman for contributing this. Audit trailing is a feature we are aware of, but have not yet scoped or assessed as such. Duly noted this is important to you.
