Ipad 5th gen (A9) not jailbreaking #1139

Tell us about your setup:

  1. What iDevice are you using? Ipad 5th gen 128GB
  2. On what version of iOS is it? 13.4
  3. What version of checkra1n are you using, and GUI or CLI? beta .9.8.2 and both
  4. What is your host system (OS version? Hackintosh? VM? etc.)? Kali Linux 2020.2
  5. How are you connecting to the device (USB-A? USB-C? Apple/3rd party cable? Through a USB hub?)? USB A and 3rd party

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

  1. check for checkra1n update
  2. plugin Ipad and enable untested versions
  3. follow steps listed by checkra1n ...

What do you expect, and what is happening instead? to see the checkra1n logo and the outputs of the bootloader the GUI and CLI both get stuck on "right before trigger (this is the real bug step)

Does the issue also occur if you enable Safe Mode? yes

Any other info, error logs, screenshots, ...? I've been able to successfully jailbreak this iPad with the same cord before. I've also tried reinstalling checkra1n from the deb repo IMG_1932 IMG_1933
