Checkra1n on virtual machines #1143

Does anyone know how to make checkra1n work on virtual machines?Because when i try to use it either i get "error code -31" or i am stuck at "Setting up the exploit (this is the heap spray)".I have both used mac os and kali linux on virtual box and VMware and i am getting the same results!Please help!

i'm having the exact same errors with VMware running MacOS Sierra We Actually Need a Solution What Is Your iDevice?

i'm using an iPhone 7

I'm having the same problem too. I'm running this on Ubuntu bionic on VirtualBox.

On the verbose log I got message like

Deterministic approach doesn't seem to work, attempting to do a probabilistic run

I think there might be problem with libusb compatibility with VM

On virtual box, there is a USB extencion pack.

No luck here either.... Best thing I could do was get an Intel Compute Stick (BOXSTCK1A8LFC) install Lubuntu and then checkra1n, autologin and run checkra1n -c
