What is your host system (OS version? Hackintosh? VM? etc.)?
MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2009) 10.11.6
How are you connecting to the device (USB-A? USB-C? Apple/3rd party cable? Through a USB hub?)?
I have used two cables, an Apple USB-A (1m), and an Apple USB-A (2m). Both cables have been used previously to successfully jailbreak on beta 0.8.9 - same phone, same computer and MacOS
What are the steps to reproduce the issue?
Open and start checkra1n (tried with verbose boot both checked and unchecked)
Use checkra1n GUI to enter DFU
Error occurs on both successful and unsuccessful DFU entry
Run checkra1n on 'Safe Mode'
Disable all tweak .dylibs in iCleaner Pro (except for iCleaner and A12CustomResFix)
Steps 1-3 again but with different combinations of cable and computer port
...
What do you expect, and what is happening instead?
I expect the phone to boot, but this error pops up and the phone gets stuck in DFU mode.
Does the issue also occur if you tick "Safe Mode" in the checkra1n options?
Sometimes. The issue occurred twice out of two tries on 0.8.9 and once out of four tries on 0.10.1
Any other info, error logs, screenshots, ...?
Here is a picture of the error.
The Checkra1n app asked for permission to send a report, and I have accepted it every time the option popped up.
