Alright, then just see it as a iPad that gets a error code when trying to jailbreak it.
Try another wire and port
Same device, same problem
Need Someone that can help me, please
Tell us about your setup:
What iDevice are you using? iPad Air 2 64GB (Wi-Fi + Cellular) Model A1567 // Activation locked
On what version of iOS is it? iOS 13.4.1 (newest)
What version of checkra1n are you using? checkra1n 0.10.1 beta (newest)
What is your host system (OS version? Hackintosh? VM? etc.)? Working on a Windows laptop, but running Ubuntu 18.04.4 with UNetbootin
How are you connecting to the device (USB-A? USB-C? Apple/3rd party cable? Through a USB hub?)? Apple charger > USB 3.0 port in laptop
What are the steps to reproduce the issue?
What do you expect, and what is happening instead? I expect that the device reboots and bypasses the activation lock, and has the jailbreak installed. But what happens is that the device reboots back to the setup (with lock) and the terminal gives 'USBMUX Error -79' error.
Does the issue also occur if you tick "Safe Mode" in the checkra1n options? Yes
Any other info, error logs, screenshots, ...? Before people think it's a stolen iPad, it's not. Got it from my old workplace because it had this activation lock, but I thought that there had to be a way to 'bypass' it. And 2 years later there is, so if somebody knows the solution I would be a very happy man!! Already thanks.
This is the window while checkra1n says booting:
This is the window just before it gives the error and the devices goes (re?)booting:
