checkra1n has broken completely #1563

Tell us about your setup:

  1. What iDevice are you using? iPad 5 (Cellular)
  2. On what version of iOS is it? 13.5.1
  3. What version of checkra1n are you using? 0.10.2
  4. What is your host system (OS version? Hackintosh? VM? etc.)? Ubuntu 20.04 (Old laptop dedicated for checkra1n for the past 4 months)
  5. How are you connecting to the device (USB-A? USB-C? Apple/3rd party cable? Through a USB hub?)? Original Apple cable

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

  1. Restore iPad through iTunes (Windows desktop machine, ctrl-clicking restore and selecting the 13.5.1 IPSW),
  2. Check Unsupported versions, safe mode, verbose mode
  3. Jailbreak
  4. If it managed to get past the trigger setup, the iPad instantly reboots into unjailbroken state. ...

What do you expect, and what is happening instead? I expect a fresh setup iPad should successfully be jailbroken. It has been working before, but the last week it has been almost completely broken.

Does the issue also occur if you tick "Safe Mode" in the checkra1n options? Yes

Any other info, error logs, screenshots, ...? checkra1n gets stuck on trigger ~80% of the tries. When it gets past it it gets stuck on booting since the iPad instantly reboots after the verbose mode text disappears.

Works successfully with checkra1n 0.10.1 after a couple of tries and reboots. checkra1n 0.10.2 does not work.

What do you mean "iPad 2"? The iPad 2 is a 32-bit device with 9.3.6 as the last supported version.
Do you mean iPad mini 2? iPad Air 2? iPad Pro 2?

Oh, sorry. Yeah, its the iPad 5 xD Brainfreeze since I've been messing around with an iPad 2 for my in-laws xD
